Inez King Edwards came to Cleveland, Ohio from Brewton, Alabama in 1950. She was twelve years old when she accepted Christ, and was baptized at East Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Rev. William M. Downs on 103rd Street and Cedar Ave. A great blessed memory was when EMZ walked from 103rd St. and Cedar Ave. to 9990 Euclid Avenue. Our church was the first black church in the area to start 8:00AM Services.
