My great great grandfather and his wife lived in Ireland, and they were the members of the the Presbyterian Church. And the minister of that Presbyterian church was Thomas Campbell. Thomas Campbell decided to come to the United States to further his ministry and then to see how it was here and and bring his family. Well, shortly after, Thomas Campbell decided to come to this country, my great great grandfather, James Foster, and his wife came also Thomas Campbell came and arrived in Philadelphia at the meeting of the Presbyterian Church.
